I am single never married no s, I am a good hearted and easy going man.Basically, most of the women I have met in life -- online and in per -- seem to be attempting to use companionship as a substitute to fill ALL of their voids, instead of finding peral resolution and not placing that unnecessary pressure on their partner. No one can make you happy, if YOU are not already happy within. They can distract your mind from what unsettles you, but they cannot distract your heart into healing... Time does not heal pain, only God does. Time merely numbs you to it. If you allow others to validate you, then you relinquish control of your happiness to those who may not have your best interest at heart. Where man lets you down, God lifts you up -- Where is your faith? No man or woman can be your savior if you do not have comfort within your own skin. Relationships are not meant to rescue one like a Life Guard at the beach...OR...bring healing to past wounds like an emotional band-aid. Band-aids only hide a scar's visibility from others, they do not inherently have healing properties... You have to find peace in accepting everything about yourself, flaws included. Realize that 99% of people never notice the flaws that we have become so OVERcritical of. No man can ever pick up all the pieces of a broken heart and mend it back together to restore it's original beauty -- it's not our role, yet has become a common expectation by broken people. We can offer support and encouragement, but healing is between you and the Lord. All I'm saying is that we cannot use peral relationships as the foundation of our happiness in life, because then we are making an "idol" out of a relationship, turning our back on God -- the real source of our happiness. If we use a partner as a rock to stand on, once adversity sets in and things begin to waver, that rock or foundation we stood so firm on, quickly becomes a cliff that we fall off. On the contrary, the Lord is always solid ground... I believe God has intended 1 per for each of us, which means 99.9% of our relationships will fail.
